Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Welcome The Memento Group At 2022 Partner Conference Following Contract Extension

F1 team confirms extension of official memorabilia licence agreement with The Memento Group and welcomes them to 2022 Partner Conference.

This month (February 2022) The Memento Group (TMG)  had the privilege of attending the Sauber Group’s 2022 Partner Conference in La Thuile, Italy. This special visit, set against the landscape of the scenic Alps, allowed TMG  to meet with their partners face to face and build on the already-strong relationships that have formed over the years.

This visit coincided with Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN confirming the extension of its official memorabilia licence agreement with TMG until the end of 2024. The licence agreement allows TMG to exclusively sell and auction authentic, certified and licensed Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN collectibles to fans around the globe.

Alfa Romeo has worked with TMG since 2019 and prior to this when the team operated under the Sauber F1 banner. For the past three seasons the team’s drivers were the 2007 World Champion, Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi. Collectibles from both drivers are still available through The Memento Group’s official F1 shop and auction at F1Authentics.com.

The contract renewal means that TMG will also be able to present customers with the latest items from the new driver line-up in 2022, which includes Guanyu Zhou - China's first full-time F1 driver - and 10 times Grand Prix winner and 67 time podium finisher, Finland’s Valtteri Bottas.

The 2022 Partner Conference posed as a great opportunity for TMG to engage with partners face to face, whilst networking with Sauber Group’s personnel and their fellow partners - many of whom TMG have known and liaised with for years but due to Covid have been unable to meet. The timetable also allowed for TMG to hear from the new drivers, Bottas and Zhou, on their exciting season ahead, plus TMG were even able to get a preview of the C42, ahead of its official launch.

The Memento Group’s Partnership Executive, Anouska Strähnz, commented:

“Sauber Group and Alfa Romeo were the perfect hosts and it was great to share our passion and enthusiasm for the beloved sport with them and discuss the season ahead. With 23 races scheduled on the calendar, new venues and of course for Alfa Romeo, a new driver duo, 2022 is set to be a bumper year for the team - and it will be a bumper year for TMG too, as we continue to work together through our memorabilia licence agreement.”

F1 Authentics.com auctions and sells only official memorabilia licensed by teams with products ranging from race-used, test-worn and replica F1® car parts, race wear and helmets. In addition, it sells re-engineered items from the fabric of the sport to create truly limited edition, event, race or match-linked products and showpieces.

Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN official memorabilia is available at F1 Authentics, with 2022 products expected throughout the year.
